As you know, video content took over social media in 2017! So what does that mean for your brand in 2018?
If you’re not using video, you are loosing reach, and getting slowly pushed out by the brands who know that video is big right now!
Facebook and Instagram are both focusing more on video, with both Facebook Live and Insta Stories taking over what’s even more important is using video to grow your brand.
Here are my top tips on how to grow your brand in 2018 with video:
Utilize Video often.
The more people are seeing your content, the more that they will recognize you and start to build that know, like, trust factor.
So how do you use video all the time in your brand?
Re purpose old content– This is great when you are turning one form of content into another, for example, taking an old blog post, and turning it into a short video of you diving in a little deeper on the topic, or just a nice slide show of your blog post images with some text overlay.
Do live video as often as you can! When it comes to me choosing a topic to go live about I think about what my PR goals are for the month. What topics can I dive deep into that can prime my audience for my next launch or product offer. Don’t overwhelm yourself with the what as much as just going LIVE!
Let people know when you will be going live
Set a schedule and go live at that time, I like to us 3rd party apps such as Belive.Tv. This allows me to schedule my lives and it share it to my business page or group. I then send the link in Facebook messenger to invite my peeps. This can help improve how many people show up when your live oppose to only catching the reply.
Be on brand in your video
People are going to start to recognize you and associate certain things with you, so why not let it be your brand colors and vibe?
Purchase some waist up on-brand clothing so that you can quickly grab something to throw on before you do a video. (because if you’re like me, you probably live in a messy bun and yoga paints!)
Be consistent on where your videos are taking place and think of a setting that make sense for your brand, maybe an office or a living room, you want viewers to get familiar with the space too.
Think about your brand in a way of lifestyle. Where you film can add a lot to your video with a great setting.
Utilize video with other businesses
If you have a business bestie who has some amazing content that your audience would love to hear, share it interview style with your audience.( I love doing these!)
When you get invited, go live in other groups as well.
Create headlines that get people asking for more
You want people to be intrigued by the topic of your live video, so they click on it, and you capture them with your total amazingness.
Ask people to share
People don’t really know to share your content, unless you ask. So saying something as simple as, “If you found this video helpful like and share!” this can greatly increase your views and sales.
Make it conversational
Think of ways you can ask a question or the opinion of your audience. I always like to ask a question in my Insta stories or at the end of every video add something like ” I wanna hear from you!” Asking a question to your audience is a great way to get more engagement and make a deeper connection with them.
Lastly, Have FUN!
Your vibe attract your tribe babe, so enjoy being on camera so your audience enjoy’s watching you!
